Patients receiving care at OSTRAUMA LTDA. have the right to:
CHOOSE, whenever permitted by the Colombian General System of Social Security in Health and subject to the institution's availability, the healthcare professional or service involved in their care.
RECEIVE safe, timely, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
BE TREATED with dignity, respect, equality, and without discrimination based on age, sex, social status, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, or any other legally protected characteristic.
RECEIVE CLEAR INFORMATION about their health condition, diagnosis, proposed procedures, associated risks and benefits, treatment alternatives, and prognosis in a timely, complete, and understandable manner.
MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS regarding the acceptance or refusal of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures by providing informed consent whenever applicable.
HAVE THEIR PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY PROTECTED, including the confidentiality of their medical records and all information related to their healthcare, in accordance with applicable laws.
RECEIVE GUIDANCE regarding administrative procedures, service fees, authorizations, and any other matters related to their healthcare.
SUBMIT petitions, complaints, claims, suggestions, or compliments and receive a respectful, timely, and clear response in accordance with applicable regulations.
RECEIVE CARE in an environment that promotes patient safety, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
PARTICIPATE in the institution's patient participation mechanisms, including the Users' Association and other community participation activities related to healthcare.
